Disneyland Maps?  You mean those paper maps you grab at the gate, fold up, stick in your pocket and end up throwing away at the end of the day.  No, not me!  I love them and collect them!  I know there are probably cooler Disney items to collect.  Pins?  Dolls?  Stuffed Animals?  Mickey Ears?  No, I collect the ultimate free souvenir that you can always go back to.  As Walt wanted it, Disneyland will always change and grow, so to have these mementos and see what came before is awesome.  I started collecting about 20 years ago and continue to this day, I’m constantly checking to see if the parks release a new map and I’m always looking for other collectors who hopefully have the same obsession that are willing to trade and share their collection.

I want to share my collection with everyone in hopes this becomes a community where everyone can connect, trade or just admire the maps of the past.

New Pixar Fest Map at DCA

Pixar Fest began at the Disneyland Resort map on Friday 04/26. DCA updated their map to reflect the festival and it features characters from Seeing Red. These should be out all summer unless the resort decides to change up the characters throughout the festival (I doubt it). Disneyland stuck with the Star Wars Seasons of the Force map. I’m assuming they will stay out until the Star Wars festival ends June 2nd.

Star Wars Seasons of the Force comes to Disneyland

New Disneyland map came out today for the “Seasons of the Force” event. It features Mando and Grogu on the cover. I expect this map to stay out until April 25th as “Pixar Fest” begins on the 26th. Thank you group member Ramon for the picture.

Food & Wine Festival 2024

The DCA Food & Wine Festival began on Friday, March 1st and with that we got a new DCA map which features two demographics of people enjoying the event on the cover with a classy maroon color on the cover and inside. Disneyland is still sticking with Goofy on the cover (same map). This DCA Food & Wine Festival map should be around until the event ends on April 22nd and then my prediction is we’ll have a short bridge map from the 23rd to the 25th until the Pixar Fest event begins on April 26th. Disneyland’s Goofy map should be around until April 4th as Star Wars: Seasons of the Force begins on April 5th. Happy Collecting!

Wakanda Forever DCA Bridge Map

Going along with the schedule I created in an earlier blog post, Lunar New Year ended yesterday and now we have a bridge DCA map until the Food & Wine Festival begins March 1st. It features Black Panther in their Wakanda Forever arm pose. Code is DCA 021924-ENG. Inside scan: DCA. This should only be an 11 day map so get yours hands on one now. Lunar New Year 2024

The Lunar New Year celebration has arrived at DCA and with that comes a new map. Disneyland is sticking with the Goofy cover until April but DCA should see several map changes before then. These Lunar New Years maps should be out until February 18th when the event ends and we might get a bridge map for February 19th through February 29th as Food & Wine Festival begins on March 1st.

New Year…New Map! 2024 Possible Map Dates

Happy New Year DLR Map Collectors! With the new year brings us some new maps with original covers. Disneyland features Goofy in Toon Town while DCA features Hiro and Baymax in their new San Fransokyo land. Codes are DLP 010824-ENG & DCA 010824-ENG. Inside Scans: Disneyland and DCA

The most maps seem to come at the beginning of the year with all the event changes so here’s some noteworthy dates where we could see new maps.

January 8th – Holiday Time ends – New Goofy & Hiro/Baymax maps arrived

January 23rd – Lunar New Year begins at DCA (ends Feb 18th)

February 19th – Possible bridge DCA maps between Lunar New Year and Food & Wine Festival

March 1st – Food & Wine Festival begins at DCA (ends April 22nd)

April 5th – Star Wars Season of the Force begins at Disneyland (ends June 2nd)

April 22nd – Possible bridge DCA maps between Food & Wine Festival and Pixar Fest (4-Day map)

April 26th – Pixar Fest begins at both parks (ends Aug 4th)

August 4th – Bridge Maps between Pixar Fest and Halloween Time

August 23rd – Halloween Time (ends Oct 31st)

4th Qtr 2024 – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Opens

November 1st – Bridge Maps between Halloween Time and Holiday Time

November 15th – Holiday Time begins

HolidayTime 2023 ***Updated***

HolidayTime maps arrived this past Friday. Disneyland features a new cover showcasing the Main Street Christmas Tree while DCA features a recycled World of Color cover.

***Update*** It seems DCA had a three-day map that was out Friday 11/10 through 11/13 and as of yesterday there is a new version of the map out for 11/14 through January 7th. They both feature the same World of Color cover but they feature different date codes on the front and the only difference on the inside is the new 11/14 map has a Lightning lane disclosure added to the Little Mermaid ride description.

These maps should be out until January 7th when the HolidayTime event ends.

November Bridge Maps 2023

November Bridge maps debuted on November 1st and feature a slightly different angle and setting of the Haunted Mansion Holiday on the Disneyland Map while DCA features an actual shot San Fransokyo Square and the bridge. Please note these maps are only out until November 9th as the HolidayTime maps will debut on November 10th. I’ll get scans of the insides of these bridge maps up once I get my hands on some. One Day Map? And HalloweenTime is here

Wow, DCA released a one day map. Since the new San Fransokyo Square opened officially yesterday, DCA released a map dated 8/31 and had the concept art of the new bridge on it. We thought that was strange because HalloweenTime maps are due to come out today 9/1. So, that San Fransokyo map came and went as the HalloweenTime maps came out today and Disneyland features a dusk version of the Mickey Pumpkin on Mainstreet and DCA features the Headless Horseman statue which is a new cover.
